My internal display is not detected or recognized by the MacBook Pro

This is my first post in the Apple community. I am sorry if I am not following the regulations.

I have the same question as asked by @Fatima_q7’s Profile - Apple Community and @https://discussions.apple.com/profile/cl%C3%A9mence81 at given post

Internal display not detected - Apple Community

I have a Macbook Pro Ratina, 15 inches, mid-2015. If you see the above picture, my internal display is not detected or recognized by the Macbook. It works fine on external displays (as seen in the picture).

Can you please advise me on the issue? Am I able to repair/fix it at home or do I need to take it to some repair shop?

Thanks and Regards,

Abdul

in general, the Mac sends a query to external displays, and sets the resolution based on the reply from the display, telling its name and capabilities.

in the case of an Internal display, that information is coded into the MacBook Pro's read-only memory, and in not subject to resolution issues.

The classic way to work around a display resolution set to wonky settings is to restart into Safe Mode, which takes defaults for everything possible. if the display appears in Safe Mode, any changes you make to its settings will 'stick' in regular mode.
