Reminder app merging reminders into one?

I've had this happen 2x in the past week - I have a number of reminders set up already - I would add one (probably via siri on my watch ultra II) and then Id be on my mac and see two of them merged into one reminder.

EXAMPLE:

I have an existing reminder to "do dishes" at 5 PM Friday.

I'll use my watch to set a reminder to "Pick up groceries on Monday at 6 PM"

Watch siri will show me a normal reminder.

I'll go to mac, and see a reminder for Friday at 5PM that says "do dishesPick up groceries"

There will be no grocery reminder for monday at 6PM on my list.

I have latest version of mac OS, watch OS, and phone OS
