How to stop Apple Numbers from auto-calculation on Mac?

I cannot seem to find the option to stop Apple Numbers from auto-calculating once I enter something new.

Is it possible to trigger calculation by pressing some button once I am done entering all the data?

MacBook Pro 15″, macOS 14.1

Hi RoTep,

Welcome to the Numbers forum!

The bad news: Numbers does not have a feature to stop auto-calculating.

Some functions are "volatile" (they recalculate with every change to a document*).

The only thing I can suggest is to enter all the new data in another document, then copy and paste into your main Numbers document. Recalculation can then act upon all those new data. Time for a coffee while you wait!

*SGIII can comment on "volatile" functions. Perhaps SG will call in soon.

Regards,

Ian.
