HELLO - I've been trying to figure out how to STOP Mac Number Incrementing my Text which includes numbers Ex: A1300 - I want to repeat it without INCREMENTS. As I pull the handle down it keeps adding another number Ex: A1301 A1302..... ALSO, the cell is formatted as TEXT

It was an odd design choice. Dragging down on on the actual number 1300 doesn't do this but put some text in front of it and all of a sudden it thinks it is the start of a sequence. It has burned me more than a few times. At a minimum it would be nice if auto-incrementing could be overridden, like with Option or Shift or something.

Type #A1300 in row 3, select both 2 and 3, and then drag the handle down.

I agree. There should actually be an option to turn it on and off in the format side bar. Thank you again for all of your help!
