Apple gift card cash at Target

I bought a$100 gift card and at target and gave it to my daughter. She tried to use it and said it was not activated.,

So I went back to Target customer service and told them it was not activated could you please check again. He did not even look at the card she just said call Apple we don’t take cards back I said I’m not returning the card. I just want to make sure you activate right!?

again, she said, just go apple anything to do with it anymore

did you get a receipt? it should have two parts the smaller one shows that the card has been activated. if you have a target account you can check the receipt that way. otherwise id call target customer service. if they refuse to help you call your bank and get their help getting your money back.
