No App Store on iPhone

New iPhone 15 max. Have latest software. Ported all my settings. I don’t have an App Store! It’s not in the App Library.

I have switched off screen time. Restored both from cloud and with MacBook. Restarted. Still no App Store. Very strange.

App Store Missing after iOS 17.5.1 Update After Installing iOS 17.5.1 the App Store will not load onto my device (iPhone 14 Plus). I have Screen Time settings that prevent In App purchases, Deleting of Apps, & automatic install / update of apps. I’ve had this as a standard setting for years. When I wish to add or modify an App I simply toggle the appropriate setting under Screen Time and the App Store appears and would functions. Since installing iOS 17.5.1, when I toggle the Screen Time settings to enable the App Store I see the icon for the App Store momentarily appear on my screen and then immediately disappear. I’ve read similar bugs where users have been unable to update their apps after 17.5.1; but they have had their App Store app available. It seems that for those of us with Screen Time permissions there is a bug inhibiting the App Store; which now means we cannot add, update any apps or make any purchases. Has anyone else experienced this, specific issue and found a work around? I had spoken to an individual with Apple Support and provided a screen capture of the problem actually happening but I have since heard nothing. This is a major iOS flaw that truly needs priority attention.

Why does the App Store keep disappearing on my son's iPhone? Usually on my sons phone, app downloads are not allowed. When we changed the settings to allow app downloads in the screen time settings, it appeared briefly, even letting me open it, before closing and disappearing again. This happens every time we toggle the setting on and off. It is not in the App Library, and you can not find it when you search. You can actually watch the app disappear from the screen after a few seconds when you change the setting to “allow”. This started after the most recent update, so I am assuming it’s a glitch. Have you double-checked the App Library? The App Store app is not one of the apps that can be deleted but it can be removed from the Home Screen. Go to the App Library (swipe left past your last Home Screen). From there you can touch and hold an app and slide it to the Home Screen.

Also note the Search window at the top of the App Library.

Another reason for it not being visible is due to a restriction on purchasing. Go to Settings and tap Screen Time, tap Content & Privacy Restrictions, tap iTunes & App Store Purchases, choose a setting and set to Allow. Done both those things.

it’s not in the App Library and have checked that all is allowed!
