Time Disappeared from the top right corner when listening to Pandora.

Any time we listen to Pandora on our phone we have the ability to skip tracks on the watch and up until the most recent update(10.1) we lost the ability to also see the time which showed in the top right corner. After working through trouble shooting steps with Pandora and trouble shooting steps that were outlined in the apple communities for like problems. Even uninstalling the app and re-installing it. the issue was not resolved the two photos illustrate the issue. what can we do to fix this?
