If you have forgotten your password for a locked note on your iPhone, you can reset it by following these steps:

1. Open the **Settings** app on your iPhone.

2. Scroll down and tap on **Notes**.

3. Tap on **Password**.

4. Tap on **Reset Password**.

5. Enter your Apple ID password when prompted.

6. Create a new password for your notes.

If you are trying to recover deleted notes, you can do so by checking the **Recently Deleted** folder in the Notes app. Here are the steps:

1. Open the **Notes** app on your iPhone.

2. Tap on **Back** until you see the list of folders.

3. Tap on **Recently Deleted**.

4. Find the note you want to recover and tap on it.

5. Tap on **Move To**.

6. Select the folder you want to move the note to.

If you are still unable to find your notes, you can try searching for them using the **Search** bar in the Notes app. If you have accidentally deleted the Notes app, you can restore it from the App Store ⁵.

I hope this helps!

You will not be able to open a locked note without the password. The are 2 options for setting a password, it can either be the same as the passcode for the device or a unique password. To lock a note with your passcode, you will need to be using iCloud Keychain. You can reset the password used to lock notes, but this will not give you access to notes locked with a previous password. Note that another user can lock the note if they are using the same Apple ID as you are and you will be unable to access the note unless you know the password they used to lock it.
