$50 apple gift card

I purchase a $50 apple gift card on 11/1/23 at 9:18am. I gave it to a friend of mine. She calls me back and says the card wasn't good. I have the card with me. How would be able to get my money back or get another card

Contact the merchant where you purchased the card to ensure that it was activated.
