Restore or Factory Reset MDM iPad 6th gen

Trying to erase all content that is on the iPad 6th gen but access is restricted and though I had purchased the storage unit of which the device was in when auctioned, I do not have any contact or information about the previous owner or from what I suspect was their kids schools iPad.

Removing MDM from a school-provided iPad I have an iPad that was purchased through my old high school. When I received it, it was setup with MDM restrictions and preloaded apps. I am unable to reset it myself, nor is there the button to remove the profile. Since last fall, I have not been at that school as I moved. I tried getting into contact with the IT department at my old school, and they tried to help me remove the restrictions. However, they deleted my account and device from their system, but my iPad still has the restrictions and MDM profile. This is because prior to the iPad being released and being automatically wiped, I made a backup using my personal iCloud account. After the iPad was reset, it automatically loaded this backup and the restrictions came back. I was told there is nothing they can do remotely to give me access to my iPad. They recommended I go to an Apple store and have them factory reset my iPad into DFU, however this did not work as the Apple Store employees needed to sign into the school administration account to reset my iPad. Is there anything I can do to remove the MDM restrictions?

iPad stuck in MDM-restricted factory reset I tried to reset a 5th Generation iPad I bought from my school district to factory settings. I didn't realize it still had the MDM on it and now I am stuck in the reset process. The iPad is waiting for final configuration from the district. I retired two years ago and they scrapped the iPad program so the district IT guy says he can't help me. Is there any way to fix this iPad so it can be used? [Re-Titled by Moderator]

How do I factory reset my locked iPhone and iPad mini? work for cleaning company. anything left in units automatically belong to cleaning crews when tenants vacate do to evictions, abandonments, death, etc. So happen this was a death. (R.I.P.). You could potentially use Apple Configurator 2 on a macOS device to do the wipe, however, it likely will immediately enroll in management again. You could find the info for who manages the device when doing this and attempt to contact them.
