What are the measurements for the apple ear pods?

I would like to know the measurements or circumference of the stem of the corded Apple Ear buds so I can determine if an over the ear headphone attachment meant to be used on Apple AirPods would fit on the stem of the corded Apple Ear Buds. The apple ear buds do not fit in my ear properly, they fall out very easily, I have tried other attachments but the over the ear headphones are the only ones that are secure.

The stems of the Apple EarPods are basically the same diameter as their AirPods. However, if the "over the ear" attachments you are referring to have a opening where you would slide the stems into will have to also accommodate fitting over the plug (either 3.5mm or Lightning), where the two wires from the individual EarPods meet, and over the volume control.
