iPhone : "Unable to activate"

Hello,

I work for a company based in Luxembourg and we have been having a problem configuring the iPhone for over 6 months.

Our iPhones are registered in Apple DEP and we have an MDM (MobileIron), but for the last months, when the iPhone enters the activation phase, we get an "Unable to activate" message. We don't have open Wi-Fi, so we activate our iPhones with our provider's mobile data.

What we tried:

-  Activating iPhones in different countries (Belgium and France)

-  Tried different providers in different countries (Luxembourg, Belgium and France)

-  Some iPhones were not assigned to the Apple DEP and we still had the problem

-  Batteries were from 10% to 90% charged

What is also strange is that (as you can see on the picture) that we only see 5G and not the operator's name. As well the iPhones which we don’t have the issue we can see < the operator's

name> with 5G.

Do you have any idea why this happens?

Thank you for your help in advance,

Best regards,

Thierry

Connect this to a Mac…

Troubleshoot the Mac’s Networking:

A. Tried Ethernet?

You can connect your Mac to Ethernet. If you have no Ethernet port, then try using an adapter: The Belkin USB-C to Gigabit Ethernet Adapter - Apple. Ethernet is a direct connection. That is much more reliable, due to connectivity concerns such as a router doing down or WiFi services not working.

B. Try Another User:

For temporary purposes, create a new user, and see if you can get the this to work.

C. Boot in Safe Mode:

In Safe ModeLogin Items do not run at login, certain preferences are set aside, and damaged system files are then reset. So, once booted in to Safe Mode, try personify this. For instructions, go here: How to Use Safe Mode on your Mac - Apple Support

D. Disable a VPN:

If you are connected to a VPN, then disconnect from it. Security Software just gets in the way on an Apple device, and this is a pure example of How and Why.

E. Restart your Router:

Power off your router for 30 seconds, and then power it back in. Any packets getting in the way would be swept away s.

Thank you for the screenshot.

Hello, Can you please translate this, including the tip and bottom buttons? It would seem that you are going across countries, and that you don't have the services to use this across different carriers. Seeing "5G", It may be ransomware popup not letting you proceed.
