magic trackpad not "clicking"

i've been away from my desk for a few weeks

i use a MacBook Air "docked" to a external monitor at the office ... when "docked" i use Apple Magic Keyboard and Apple Magic Trackpad

when i arrived this morning the trackpad charge was very low (4%) so i charged it first to 20%

so now it is "working" in that i can move the mouse around ... but it does not "click"

please help! thank you!

MacBook Air M1 trackpad double-clicks after update and use so i am using macbook air m1 , with ios tahoe 26.2 . after updating from 26.0 . on previous version i didn’t encounter issue of automatically double clicked when i forcefully single click. but after update when ever i single click with little force the trackpad go way down to another click. i dont know whther its a hardware issue or some software. if its hardware then why when i restart my macbook it works fine. after using for 8-9 hours the problem appears again i.e if i apply little force on single click , then trackpad automatically process another clicke so i got clicked twice however i want single click. i am wondering from where this second click came after using 7-8 hrs continuously. why i don’t experience it before way before when i m 4 to 5 hrs in while using mac . Any help will be appreciated.

Magic trackpad not working I have a magic trackpad to avoid using the mouse, I haven’t used the trackpad for a couple of months, and now it is not working. I connected it with the cable to charge it but still it not working. Is is not showing in the bluetooth options either. I have a Mac Book Pro Ventura 13.7.4 (22H420), it is updated. The trackpad is Model A1535. I watched videos, read articles and followed the steps, but nothing worked. SInce it is not showing at all and not working at all I don’t know what can I do. Any ideas? Thanks a lot.
