Smart watch connection problem

My friend has a 12 pro max but her smart watch is Garmin. Before the new ios 17 the connection was fine but after the update it keeps disconnecting and connecting. Is there anything we can do to fix that?

See if there is an update for the Garmin app, which would be required to use a Garmin watch with iPhone. Garmin would need to update their app to be compatible with iOS 17. Or the watch itself may need to be updated. If there is no update for the Garmin app or Garmin watch, your friend should reach out to Garmin for help with their product.

I have the same issue, after weeks of back-and-forth with Garmin (sending error logs, videos, photos, descriptions) they have told me it’s an iOS issue and to contact Apple.
Which isn’t helpful at all.
