Why did my iPhone stop updating?

I thought I had updated to IOS17. When I looked again, it was still needing to be updated. Then it didn’t finish all of the blue line. It finished the time though. My phone is very aggravating and does not cooperate when using. It’s very annoying!!

It's normal for a large update to take some time. When you start the update for your device, several things have to happen:

  1. The update is requested from Apple (time greatly depends on how many people are attempting the update)
  2. The update is downloaded (the blue bar, may take a while even with a stable connection)
  3. The update is installed (your phone will restart several times, and display the Apple logo and progress bar)
