Stuck on gathering printer supplies information

I was able to print fine from my iPhone 13 until the most recent 17.1 update. It starts with no printer found when I click the arrow. It does locate my printer and then get stuck on gathering printer supplies. I have two laptops not Apple that work just fine. I have rebooted all devices, including the router. There are no problems with the printer. No problems with the router. I have shut down my iPhone and restarted. Still the same problem. The only change is the iOS update.

I want to print from my iPad. I select Print in document. There is a message that says “Gathering printer information” and then where I selected printer, it changes to “No printer selected”. How can I fix this.

Realizing this is an old thread, I all of a sudden had the searching for supplies issue only on my iPad. Tried 6 ways from Sunday with numerous reboots of all equipment. Finally deleted Norton completely and reinstalled without VPN. Seems to work thus far.
