Will Optimized Battery Charging work with location services off?

Hi, A quick question please

Will The (Optimized Battery Charging ) Feature work while Location services are off?

to be more clearly

Can i use Optimized Battery Charging while I'm disabling the Location Services?

I Use an old iPhone 6s Plus so enabling Location services uses more battery power for me.

So, most of time the location services are off on my device,

So, will the Optimized Battery Charging continue working while Location is off??
