I’m trying to track a IPhone 13 that is only a month old that belonged to my 66 yr old father-in-law. He has not set up the Apple ID or turned on the find my phone. His other daughter had a friend of hers that was staying there and she walked off with it. I do have all the info on the phone that comes on the box. Is there a way to track it????

Nope. If it wasn't set up, nor did it have Find My enabled it can't be tracked. Contact the police as you're suggesting theft. And you seem to know who may have stolen it. But there is nothing anyone here nor from Apple can do to help you. And Apple doesn't get involved in lost or stolen devices anyway.

No. There is no way to track it. If you know who "walked off with it" notify the police.
