Uploading folders to icloud not supported, only files can be uploaded using your web browser.

I am trying to upload a documents folder from my PC device using windows 11 to my iPad device and receive the above error message.

Windows, Windows 10

It can if you drag the folder into the iCloud Drive location on your computer after installing iCloud for Windows.

But, folders cannot be uploaded through a web browser.

Correct. Folders cannot be uploaded. The content inside can be.

Thanks for the reply. I was told by an upper tech manager at the apple store that the entire documents folder could be transferred by copying and then executing drag and drop. Tried that but error message appeared. I guess i need to go back to the source.
