Could Apple make this UI element smaller?

or lower contrast?

or perhaps both?!

If the designer is trying to obscure this they’re doing a great job!

This element is so small I find myself playing podcasts a second time.

Find a better way to show the podcasts is played. No need to hide this fact. Why not grey out the whole entry?

No longer possible to sort episodes in Podcast app queue I can no longer sort or rearrange episodes in the Podcast app queue (iOS 18.2.1). When you sort episodes with the three-bar "slider icon," the top and bottom episodes of the 6 episodes visible can no longer be selected at all and if you move any episode above or below the 6 visible ones (even when you let go of the slider) all of the episodes get re-scrambled in a new random order after a few seconds. The entire idea behind this functionality is now completely broken.

podcast fast forward slide bar on lock screen Does anyone know how to remove the fast forward/rewind slide bar from the Lock Screen? I feel like it didn’t used to be there and I accidentally fast forward or rewind a lot when putting my phone in my pocket or something. It’s too easy to move it around and I really don’t need to slide to fast forward from the actual Lock Screen.

minimize full screen music control on lockscreen I just upgraded to iOS 16.2 on my iphone 12mini. If I'm playing a podcast, the app takes over my lock screen hiding the wall paper. It is absolutely obnoxious. Is there any way to minimize the podcast/music controls on the lock screen in iOS 16.2.
