Picture & colour quality

I have had my Apple TV connected to the same Kogan TV for just over a year and suddenly the picture and colour quality has become terrible. I have tried changing the HDMI cable, resetting my apple TV, playing around with the video settings etc but still no luck

Apple TV device washed out colors. I purchased an apple TV 4k 3rd gen Wifi model and am having a weird issue where the colors seem washed out. I have a 65 s90d Samsung i purchased last year and decided to get an apple tv to speed up processing. Upon plugging it in the Apple tv colors seem super off compared to my basic Smart Tizen OS colors. I have tried 3 different 8k rated cables tried using pass through on my receiver(JBL MA510) and even tried resetting it. I have changed settings from SDR to HDR, HDR 10+, Chroma changes, Match content on and off, Updated to latest version and have had 0 luck. SDR does look slightly better but not by much(plus much darker ofc). I am at a loss after hours of trouble shooting and research. I am around the corner from just returning it and using literally any other streaming device but don't want to due to apple tv processing typically being amazing. Any help would be amazing thank you!!!!!

AppleTV HDR worked for years then colours becae washed out yesterday All the colours in my AppleTV 4K menus and most content suddenly became very washed out yesterday. Apparently this is a known thing, where the AppleTV sends HDR with the wrong color profile or something. Switching to SDR makes the colours look correct again. However, my case seems very different from the existing support cases from a while ago I found with a search. HDR worked perfectly fine on this TV until yesterday. No idea what changed. A software update??? I didn’t change any settings or any cable/hardware related. This is a sharp 4K tv. The existing reports I’ve seen seem to have been issues with Samsung and Sony tvs. This was with an older AppleTV 4K. Tried a brand new AppleTV 4K with the same cable and tv, got the same problem. I’ve ordered a new hdmi cable to try that out. Any ideas what might have happened to make HDR stop displaying properly??? thanks

AppleTV 4K keeps dropping to YCbCr 4:2:0 each time it is turned on/switched to I'm having an issue with AppleTV 4K last gen, that is connected to non-HDR 4K tv - Panasonic TX-50CX700E. Whenever I switch on the AppleTV, it reverts back to YCbCr 4:2:0 despite setting it to RGB (high). My tv is calibrated to RGB and copes well with any RGB format for any other device, eg. Playstation 5, PC. Because of reverting to lowest possible display format, all the apps and all the content is forcing TV to switch to proper RGB 8bit full format, which causes few seconds of display outage. This is so annoying for any streaming TV apps like Youtube as the display format is switched not on app launch but on content launch, so every playback and going back to menu is doing screen switching. I'm able to set RGB (high) in settings, then the issue is gone, but the settings are saved only until AppleTV powercycle or switching HDMI input on the tv. So basically - this is "per session" setting. Is there any soultion to that? This seems to be a bug in HDMI subsystem in AppleTV. I have found only one post about this, also I have filled bug report to Apple but it seems it is only a "suggesstion" to Apple and not taken seriously.

Can you describe this change?

Do you have other HDMI devices to test on that same HDMI cable and same HDMI port on the TV?
