How to remove my MacBook Pro from it being remotely controlled?

I want to disallow my MacBook Pro from being remotely controlled by a pc. Is there anyway to prevent someone from accessing it remotely? And how do I change my user sign in name!

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 12.7

You would need to tell us how it is being controlled by a PC exactly?

Do you have things like Teamviewer or Remote Desktop activated?

Where are you seeing this PC exactly?

To change a user name, you can to into Settings ➜ Users & Groups, click on the (i) next to the user you want to change, and then on the User Name box to edit it.

Do note, some apps may be looking for data and files under the absolute path with the current user name it has, and may not work if its changed or issue errors.

All you need to do to keep others out is change the login password.

Changing an existing user name is NOT RECOMMENDED, because it is error-prone. Users who make a mistake can lock themselves out of their Mac and all their files, permanently, with NO WAY back in.

Vastly less trouble prone is to create a NEW user with the attributes you desire, and log in the the new name. Once you are satsisfied the old account does not need log in, change its password. Once you are satisfied (suggested a week or more with no access to its files) the old account can be deleted.
