Restrictions/Parental Controls for Apple TV Store and iTunes Store Content

Is there any way to restrict access to the Apple TV App Store and the iTunes Movies and Shows apps such that kids can't view inappropriate content within those stories? Following this guide to fully restrict all apps and restrict iTunes and Apple TV content fully only works partially. All apps require a passcode EXCEPT Apple TV and iTunes apps. Apple TV only shows age-appropriate content, per the restriction, BUT when you navigate to the store, any movie or TV show can be shown, including the trailer. This is completely inappropriate for kids and makes Apple TV parental controls utterly useless as any 4 year old can go watch a trailer for the scariest horror films or most inappropriate sexual content. We parents need a better way.

yes, that second Apple guide is the same one I linked in the OP. The Lifewire one I had also gone through (it was more helpful than Apple), but it also didn’t do the trick and is out of date. The most promising part is below, but doesn’t appear to be in the latest TVOS on Apple TV 4K. There are no options that I can find to lock individual apps. I mentioned restricting access to “all apps” in the OP and the result is that every app requires a passcode EXCEPT Apple built in apps.

Enable App-level Restrictions on Any Apple TV

The built-in restriction settings apply to the Apple-created apps on your Apple TV. To enable the parental lock on third-party apps, you must change the permissions on each app individually, no matter which generation of Apple TV you have.

Go to Settings > Main Menu.
Pick the app to lock.
Choose the appropriate setting based on your device:

- For 4K and 4th generation Apple TVs: Select Hide to hide it completely or Restrict to require a passcode to access it.

It Is annoying because the parental controls are tied to the unit and not the user. When you set restriction it applies to all profiles. When you remove it, you cant easily turn it back on with one click from the control center. You have to go through the entire set up process.
