My iPhone has been stolen and the person has access to my password and my iCloud.how do I change my password on a new phone.

On the Friday 3 November 2023 my iPhone was stolen by a friend who has access to my phone password. He has been using my phone to take money from people. I was able to replace my SIM card. Now when I try to log into my iPhone it says wrong password.meaning the person changed my iCloud and phone password. How do I get my iCloud back.

I spent a lot of time and effort helping a friend's daughter attempt to regain access to her ID and Icloud without success. This has to be a fairly common occurrence. As far as I can see if another person changes your ID, you magically disappear without a trace. The interesting part of this is my credit card information stayed with the new ID (which makes sense) but it also traveled with my friend's daughter to her new ID (which didn't make sense). This kind of told me there is a link somewhere but I have yet to find it. I tried "account recovery" which is a circular process leading nowhere. I'll be calling a third party to untangle it. hope you had some success
