I can’t talk to my freind and my freind can’t talk to me through iMessage

Well my mom had just then renewed my phone bill then I was able to talk to my freind but when I was in wi-fi I was able to text my other freinds but they had iPhones this freind had a diff phone a moto g power.

This freind also had green text instead of the normal blue text.
