I am receiving an operation error AKAuthenticaError error-7005. I am trying to restore my phone to factory setting to return

I am trying to restore my old I phone 11 back to factory setting to return. I just purchased the new I phone 15.

I keep receiving a notice on the old phone states Verification Failed. The operation couldn't be completed.

(AKAuthenticationError error-7005.)

Try to turn off Find My in Settings > [your name ] > Find My and sign out from your Apple ID in Settings > [your name].

I'm a bit confused. The original question was about an iPhone. You seem to be using a Mac. Could you clarify?

The message you see is when you are trying to access the passwords in System settings or in Keychain Access. The password required in that of your user session, not your Apple ID.

:) I am as confused as you.

I am using macbook air. Just googled error and this forum post came up. Error is eaxctly the same. But anyway it went away now since typed in my old macbook pro password. It is just annoying why is it asking about some old macbook pro password which does not even exist under my icloud devices since I removed it ages ago
