Can I use Keychain passwords in Chrome-based browsers on Mac?

Hi, now that Apple Keychain supports family sharing/group passwords, I'm thinking of migrating to it from my existing password manager. My problem is that while I know there's an extension that works for browsers on Windows, I'm not sure how to integrate with browsers other than Safari on my Mac? For example, can I use this functionality in Chrome/Edge for Mac? Apple support articles seem to indicate that the Chrome extension is Windows specific. Would love any thoughts others might have,
