When I open my apple wallet application and click the add card icon a message comes up saying (could not set up Apple Pay, error occurred while setting up Apple Pay) then it says to update latest version which my phone already has and app as well?

Well I have been having this problem too since I purchased my iPhone 15 Pro about a month now! I tried to sort it out with Apple support, tried everything, but off course with no luck. A testament to the large scale of the problem is that the new iOS update 17.1.1, that just came out, clearly specified that it was trying address the problems with Apple Pay. Moreover the update was mentioning that it could be caused by induction charging on some cars?? Still after the update nothing has changed. Very frustrating ...Apple needs to step up and face the problem
