Apple Music playlist covers are blank on iPhone

me too. I really hate this update. I want at least the option to have album cover artwork collaged as the playlist cover. The cover album options they give you are so ugly

Literally. Whoever thought this was a good idea and sanctioned this needs to have their pay docked IMMEDIATELY!!!

I want the option to go back to using album art as well. So much so that I am throwing a hail mary and actually submitted feedback!

The new cover layouts are annoying. Why did Apple not just add the layouts instead of changing them?

The former covers I’ve been able to add without giving additional titles. Sorry but it’s absolute nonsense. Why why why…. :(

@apple if you don't change this update back to the album art i will cancel my apple music subscription and move to spotify.

New playlists are not displaying album art as one of the options in the ellipses to the right of the camera. Really hate this & it’s super frustrating. Please fix!!!!

Same old story, update and it makes things worse, I can not get album art either on playlist recently done,

I hate this update. All I seem to have access to is some bad gold 70s gradients. I much prefer the 4x album cover pictures.

none of the options in the ellipses are displaying the first 4 songs album art. There is 1 option with 4 boxes but it does not populate the album art.

Why on Earth someone would make such a change?

The playlist cover is simply ugly now. Please give us back the way it should be like before😡

Yes, it's the same using the app on MacOS or iOS, so somebody thought this horrible change was a good idea and others signed off on it! What were they thinking?

There's a very good reason many people like original album covers, they're instantly recognisable by anybody across the planet. The option, at least, to keep the original title and artwork should be reinstated. This new system is even a slower way to create a new playlist.

Apple messed up a while back with Music playlists. Eventually, they got it working properly again and... now see fit to mess it up intentionally. I'm disappointed and quite upset by this. My only suggestion is that people keep their own copies of original album artwork that they can then upload and use for their playlists.

Had no other choice but to copy the playlist with a four album cover then rename it and edit the rules similar to the previous playlist with the unwanted cover.

This update is such an OBVIOUSLY bad idea that it hurts🤕.
