Apple Music playlist covers are blank on iPhone

Put simply you morons put back the option of album art on playlist covers

whatever possessed the TOTAL MORONS who put these totally moronic cover options

Your arrogance is TRULY BREATHTAKING

If you keep abusing your market leadership you know what eventually happens!

1. iPhone: Music > Select song(s) > Add to a Playlist > New Playlist > Save the playlist. Done (so don’t even touch the image section)

Solution described doesn’t work on iphone ios 17.3.1. So if you create a new playlist and don’t pick an image it won’t save. If you pick the red image and don’t select anything, it shows the album covers, and then it reverts to the first default image.

That’s very interesting! I will try this tomorrow in ITunes. I don’t have a MacBook, I have a PC. I’ll get back to you guys in a few hours with another update! Fingers crossed this works. I think it will! It’s basically the same concept!

i really hate this update it was so unnecessary and very ugly being blunt. the original layout for playlist covers was iconic. it is also very ironic that they give the user the ability to chose five different quite ugly cover options and none of them are virtually the easiest one to compile(being the genuine default of the four album covers)

yeah I am really missing that old style. I thinks it’s really cool that they’ve got those new ones… but I’m not necessarily a fan of them myself. I’ve been making playlists for the past 5 years, I’d rearrange the top 4 songs to make a pretty neat album cover… now I can’t continue my pattern. Please can that also just be an option? Or how about you can choose 4 songs from the playlist to be in the cover? So it automatically chooses the top 4, but then instead of having to change the order of the songs to customise it, you can just change it from the new cover interface you’ve made?

This is the company that hasn’t figured out how to sort photo albums or icons on a Home Screen. But this is worse. They had a feature and took it away!

me too. I really hate this update. I want at least the option to have album cover artwork collaged as the playlist cover. The cover album options they give you are so ugly

Same old story, update and it makes things worse, I can not get album art either on playlist recently done,

New playlists are not displaying album art as one of the options in the ellipses to the right of the camera. Really hate this & it’s super frustrating. Please fix!!!!

none of the options in the ellipses are displaying the first 4 songs album art. There is 1 option with 4 boxes but it does not populate the album art.

Literally. Whoever thought this was a good idea and sanctioned this needs to have their pay docked IMMEDIATELY!!!

I hate this update. All I seem to have access to is some bad gold 70s gradients. I much prefer the 4x album cover pictures.

Why on Earth someone would make such a change?

The playlist cover is simply ugly now. Please give us back the way it should be like before😡
