iphone 6s plus not connecting to wifi

Hi. I have an iPhone 6s Plus it will not connect to my Wi-Fi. However it will connect to Wi-Fi in my local supermarket which is an open network. Tried all the usual settings procedures to fix this but no use. Really puzzling me if anyone can help please. Thank you.
