I have same problem but solved it after months of investigation.

turn off private WiFi address in WiFi settings.

I have it switched on on my iPad and my wife’s iPhone SE and these both still work - as does my Mac and my old iPhone 7.

It seems to be a peculiarity of iPhone 15 - and I assume the private WiFi setting stops communication between my printer (HP envy) and my iPhone 15 on my network.

Thank you for the information.

The HP LaserJet Pro MFP M426fdw is listed in About AirPrint - Apple Support.

This means that printing from an iPhone should work without an additional app, provided that the printer and the iPhone are connected to the same network (Wi-Fi router).

Use AirPrint to print from your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support

The printer connection does not have to be wireless. AirPrint works with wireless (Wi-Fi) or wired (Ethernet) network connections, so you could choose to wire the printer to one of the LAN ports of the Wi-Fi router instead. Ethernet may be more stable.

You may want to try a full power-cycle sequence (including the router, in this order, with these waiting times):

Power off the Wi-Fi router, the printer, the iPhone, and all other devices/computers. Wait two to three minutes. Power on the router. Wait two to three minutes. Power on the printer. Wait a minute or two. Power on the iPhone. Finally, power on all other devices/computers.

Are you using a VPN on the iPhone?

Have you checked whether the printer has been updated to the latest firmware version?
