how do you turn off a 3rd generation IPod?

iPad Pro, iPadOS 14

thank you. seems the power button is the small circle within large circle. no sliders on this one but the long tap in the center dims the lights and then it goes to sleep. 😃

Unless I'm mistaken, long-tap* the power button.

* Press-and-hold the power button. I would expect that a slide-to-off graphic would appear on-screen. Slide the slider to the off position. (Long-tap the power button to turn it back on.)
