iPad has lost mode activated but also has airplane mode turned on, is there anyway to unlock the iPad without reset/erase,
If there is some trick to turn off the airplane mode that would solve everything, tried alot of things and dont know what more to test
Unless the iPad has an active WiFi or Cellular network connection, remote management of an iPad in Lost Mode is not possible.
Unless you can successfully unlock the iPad with the correct Passcode, you will not be able to change any device settings - such as Airplane mode.
As such, assuming that the iPad is in your possession, your only option will be to perform a factory restore - and then satisfy the Activation Lock.

As you will discover, unless you are the owner of the AppleID that was last used to activate the device, you’ll not be able to defeat or bypass the Activation Lock. With documentary evidence that you are the original owner (such as sales receipt showing the serial number), Apple may be prepared to assist - otherwise they and nobody here will be able to help you.
If you have the necessary documentation, Apple have recently introduced a new portal though which you may be able to request release of an Activation Lock:

However, recovery of the AppleID credentials should be possible…
