IOS 17 disaster, how to revert to IOS16?
Ever since going to IOS 17 my iPhone 13 Pro Max has had wifi connectivity issues. Crickets from Apple. How do I revert to a more stable IOS or is it time to buy a Samsung?

Hello~ You can’t downgrade to a former version of iOS. Click on below and work through the information there…

I often find a forced restart will help. If you find a Samsung a better fit…well purchase what best fits your needs.

Wi-Fi connectivity with the iPhone 13 Pro Max begins with the network router and how that SSID is configured. If you are serving Wi-Fi 6E (6 GHz) on that SSID, the phone simply will never see it as it is a Wi-Fi 6 device.
If the SSID is actually Wi-Fi 6 on 5GHz, you might try connecting to it with WPA3 security, not WPA2 or combined WPA2/WPA3.
I have had an iPhone 14 Pro Max, and now the iPhone 15 Pro Max and all connected immediately to my Wi-Fi 6 SSID with WPA3. The router is the Synology RT6600ax Wi-Fi 6. The iPhone 13 Pro Max connected to Wi-Fi 5 (802.11n) from my fourth gen AirPort Express Base Station that was replaced by the Synology unit.
Dearest Katana, I have reset my iPhone with no luck. Apple has been plagued with bugs, too many nuances to write here. I need my $1400 dollar IPhone to connect to the internet. Your comment was not helpful.
Hello once more~ My only interest is being helpful…so I will step out of this post and perhaps someone else can be more of more assistance.

You are helpful. Sorry for snapping at you, I’m just frustrated.
