IOS 17 disaster, how to revert to IOS16?

Ever since going to IOS 17 my iPhone 13 Pro Max has had wifi connectivity issues. Crickets from Apple. How do I revert to a more stable IOS or is it time to buy a Samsung?

Wi-Fi connectivity with the iPhone 13 Pro Max begins with the network router and how that SSID is configured. If you are serving Wi-Fi 6E (6 GHz) on that SSID, the phone simply will never see it as it is a Wi-Fi 6 device.

If the SSID is actually Wi-Fi 6 on 5GHz, you might try connecting to it with WPA3 security, not WPA2 or combined WPA2/WPA3.

I have had an iPhone 14 Pro Max, and now the iPhone 15 Pro Max and all connected immediately to my Wi-Fi 6 SSID with WPA3. The router is the Synology RT6600ax Wi-Fi 6. The iPhone 13 Pro Max connected to Wi-Fi 5 (802.11n) from my fourth gen AirPort Express Base Station that was replaced by the Synology unit.
