Driver for Samsung Express C430W

I need drive for a Samsung Printer Driver C430W

I'm running Ventura 13.6.

The drivers I have found do not seem to be working. MacOS incompatible or?

Mac Studio, macOS 13.6

Hi,

A Samsung Xpress C430W is listed in About AirPrint - Apple Support. This means that the model in question should be compatible with macOS 13 Ventura without the need for an additional driver, provided that the printer and the Mac computer are connected to the same network (Wi-Fi router).

Also, the connection does not have to be wireless. The C430W has Ethernet as well. AirPrint works with wireless (Wi-Fi) or wired (Ethernet) network connections, so you could choose to wire the printer to one of the LAN ports of the Wi-Fi router instead. Ethernet may be more stable.

If necessary, if there is a problem with AirPrint device discovery, try a full power-cycle sequence (including the router): Power off the Wi-Fi router, the Samsung printer, the Mac, and all other devices/computers. Wait two to three minutes. Power on the router. Wait two to three minutes. Power on the Samsung printer. Wait a minute or two. Power on the Mac. Finally, power on all other devices/computers.

Hi LeovanLoenen20,

As Old Toad indicated, you should find information about how to change Wi-Fi settings in the user guide.

https://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c05787976.pdf

One way could be to use WPS (Wi-Fi Protected Setup), if supported by the router. See page 109 in the user guide. There are two methods, one using a push button and the other via a PIN code. For the latter, you would have to begin by printing a network configuration report (page 97).

There are various control panels for this series, which may affect the way to use settings. Both methods described above may not be used with your exact printer model.

Alternatively, a network (Ethernet) cable connected to the printer would allow configuration via the printer's built-in SyncThru™ Web Service (page 118).

You could also permanently use a network (Ethernet) cable from the printer to one of the LAN ports of the router, instead of using a wireless printer connection at all, if you so wish.
