Deleting Duplicate Photos

I have a Macbook Pro (late 2013) running Big Sur 11.7.10. My Photo library shows many duplicates and reloads them when my phone is attached and importing. I can remove the duplicates from my phone but am not able to delete them on my Mac, except a few at a time. I do not show a Duplicates Folder on my Photos Sidebar as described in online remedy. Any help out there?

The duplicates folder in the sidebar comes in later version of Photos, which you get my updating your OS. For earlier versions try use PowerPhotos:
