If you are posting in this thread because you have an iPhone 6s – like the OP – then you should already have seen that the iPhone 6s cannot run iOS 16 or later. The latest release of iOS 15 is as high as it can go.

I'm sorry but you cant update your iPhone 6s to iOS 17 because it is too outdated the latest ios you can update for iPhone 6s is iOS 15.8

iOS 15.8 is the latest version supported by an iPhone 6s.

The Phone 6 (no 's') can run the latest version of iOS 12.

If you are already running it, the answer is that you can't upgrade any further. The iPhone 6 can't run iOS 13 or later – and will never run iOS 13 or later.
