iCal display in web browser - problem with text

I view my iCalendar in iCloud via a web browser on a Windows 10 PC.

A couple of weeks or so ago the layout of the display changed and the text of an event now cannot be read unless the event is at least 45 minutes long - the bottom part of the text is truncated. If two events overlap this is compounded, so that both events have to be even longer so that the text of each can be read (because they are displayed alongside each other). Moreover, if an event also has location text, then it has to have a duration of at least 75 minutes before all of the text can be seen.

This is the same in all three of the web browsers I have tried, which are Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, and Firefox.

It is very irritating, as I have many things that only take 30 or 60 minutes, but I now have to schedule them as 45 or 75 minutes or longer. Moreover, events scheduled by other people appear in my calendar without all of the text being visible.

I cannot find a way to alter this via the iCalendar settings and I have tried reducing the browser font size but that doesn't alter the iCalendar display (it just makes everything else very difficult to read).

Can anyone please advise if there is a solution for this or if it is a bug that needs to be fixed by Apple?

Have you tried changing the number of displayed hours in the settings? The fewer the hours the larger the boxes.

Click on the circle with three dots at the top of the calendars list, then on Settings.

Hi,

Thank you, that does actually help.

I hadn't realised that setting would just alter the number of hours displayed at one time and that you could still scroll to see the rest of the hours. I thought it would somehow stop me from seeing a part of each day! I know that I ought to have tried it to find out what it did, but I'm somewhat risk averse.

I'll play around with that setting for a while to see if I can find a value that suits me - will report back to let you know how it goes.

Thanks again.
