Back Up your iPhone to a Mac, Prior to Getting this Serviced:

Apple may go ahead and proceed with fixing it, but as part of your contract with them to perform the replacement, they'd probably state that they cannot be held liable for any loss of data, whatsoever. So, using your Mac, create a backup of your iPhone, prior to sending it in for service.
