So I recently got into photography and love using my iPad to edit photos.
However, to take the best photos in RAW format, my iPad doesn’t seem to be able to open them.
I am using an older Kodak z981 camera. It saves them as a KDC file. I cannot seem to find an editor that works with iPad to make this work. I can’t open them, or edit them.
Any suggestions?
RAW is a generic term that refers to unprocessed image data captured directly from the Camera image sensor. Different Camera manufacturers RAW formats differ. It follows that the camera that took the photograph will be able to display the image - but other devices must have explicit support for the explicit image format.

You may find that some Apps support a wider range of RAW and image formats. Perhaps consider Stratopherix FileBrowser - Document Manager, or its “pro version” FileBrowser Professional:
