Airdrop

Brand-new, iPhone 15 pro. Tried to AirDrop photos to my wife’s iPhone 14 pro. Cannot find any uses near. Yet she can AirDrop photos to my iPhone 15 pro no problem. Currently I’m not happy at £1000 or so phone that isn’t doing what my iPhone 12 did Without any problems is this another iOS bug fixing software item?

On your wife's iPhone go to Settings/General/AirDrop and make sure it isn’t set to Receiving Off. Also make sure Bluetooth and Wi-Fi are enabled on both phones, and they are connected to the same Wi-Fi network, and you are in your wife’s Contacts.

Yes thanks done all that. Still not solved it. Will go to an Apple Store next week phone only 3 weeks old. Not too happy about it. This time apple has too many problems on this generation of iPhones. Seriously looked at Chinese phone in china last week or so ago. On holiday. May buy one next trip end of year . And compare . With a view to ditching apple altogether sadly.
