My iPhone cracked but luckily I have AppleCare, when I was filling out the form to send in my iPhone (I live nowhere near an Apple Store) it asked me for a payment method, I was hoping I could just use my Apple gift cards that are on my account, but there was no option to. Would it be possible that I buy a prepaid Visa card and use that for my payment method? (I don’t like putting stuff like banking info into my phone.) Thanks, Jackson

Due to the process of using AppleCare+ apple requires users to use a card as a backup incase any unwarranted issues. Saying that you said that your device is cracked (either the front or back) apple does charge a smaller fee (usually 29$) for that type of damage. With this being said this might be the reason why apple is requiring a valid card. No worries though you can add a Visa card but apple does have tight security when it comes to your actually banking info. See here: Apple Platform Security - Apple Support

Ah i see. Yes a prepaid card should work. No unnecessary purchases wont be made unless agreed to.
It Isn’t Apple that I am worried about for my banking information. My brother has used my phone before and bought something with my card so I removed it so it dosent happen again. And just to clarify, by you saying you can add a visa you do mean a prepaid card? I don’t want to make any unnecessary purchases.
