My normal debit card works in Japan. It's the same that's in the Wallet app. When I try to get a PASMO or Suica transit card, and pay with my debit, it says payment not completed. I already called my bank and they said it can't be the debit card because it works in Japan and I've used it at ATM and such. Please help!

You may encounter failures to purchase a transit card from Japan in Wallet app with a Visa card issued outside Japan. Unfortunately, it happened for times.
Try to purchase with Mastercard or other cards. You can also purchase a Suica card with Visa card in Suica app.
