Temperature display stopped showing hours in a circle

Thank you for the suggestion. It's been quite an adventure - in my 3+ years with this Watch I've never had to unpair and re-pair it, and it hasn't gone well. Let's see what we can figure out.

I followed the instructions in this Apple Support video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UXBcNcbTcqg.

I had a couple of failed attempts to re-pair but on the third try it took. (It appeared that many complications were missing but eventually they reappeared.)

And now guess what: the temperature is still displayed wrong, as in my photo above! I restored from the 9.x backup and didn't change a thing, yet the problem's still there! So I'm guessing something must have gone mutant outside the Watch.

Any ideas what that could, friends??

For that matter, does anyone know what that temperature display is called, and how I would turn it on if I did want it??

Around the same time that happened, btw, I noticed that the Workout app screen became blue, with a time limit, not the traditional green without goal. And that too has persisted after the 9.x backup was restored.

Please, can SOMEONE tell me why the Temperature complication (or Temp in the Weather complication) started displaying differently on my Watch?? Help??

Since it's still there after I downgraded to 9.x, it looks like the problem is somehow tied to my phone. HELP

It really wrecks my routine that I can't glance at my Watch and see the temp for the coming hours.
