Recommend iphone for a first time user (Pro or Pro max?)

I am considering switching from android to Iphone for the first time. Battery, moderate screen size and performance matters for me. I am currently dreading between pro and pro max because of battery backup and screen size. I am looking to use the phone a longer time. Watched numerous videos but got myself even more tangled up cause this is quite a big investment for me. Suggestions are much appreciated. Thank you!

It's difficult to tell someone what to buy as everyone has different needs. Here's a nice link from Apple, which let's you compare the models --> iPhone - Compare Models - Apple

Personally, photography are important to me, so I always buy the Pro Max model. Memory is another consideration. Once purchased, the memory is fixed and can never be increased, so buying the most memory you can afford is a good thing to do.
