Need to restrict specific apps

I need to keep my child from accessing certain apps on her phone that she has used unsafely in the past.

I can't find anything under Screen Time that allows me to remove or block individual apps one at a time. The only options I've found are to either restrict apps by age rating (4+, 7+, 12+, etc.), which invariably blocks some apps that I may want to allow, or by imposing a daily time limit.

But the controls won't let me select anything less than 1 minute per day per app!!

A LOT of dangerous stuff can happen within 1 minute, believe me.

A similar question on this site was answered by Apple Support with the suggestion of including unwanted apps on the "Don't Allow" list. Uh ... where exactly can such a list be found? I have never seen it.

I have never heard of such a list. There's this feature Approve what kids buy with Ask to Buy - Apple Support

but once an app has been downloaded once tehre's nothing preventing it from being redownloaded.

Maybe ask Apple about that don't allow thing?

Select your country (also look for "other" regions), then a product. If you don't see one that handles your issue then keep experimenting with selections until you reach one that gets you a chat session or a telephone call and get the representative to redirect you.
