Widget Color Changing Due to Clock Color

Hey Apple!

I recently installed the iOS 17 update on my iPad and it is AMAZING! But recently I noticed that whenever I change the color of my clock it changes the color of my widgets too. I found this feature cool but when I added a picture widget, it changed the color of my pictures too, making them black, or blue.

Is there anyway to turn this feature off?

I always stay on dark mode, my calendar widget and other widgets used to be dark, now they are a faded gray and it's extremely frustrating that I don't have a crisp contrast anymore. Clock widget on iOS 26 Home Screen can't be edited on iPhone 12 Pro Max Hi, I've just updated my iPhone 12 Pro Max to iOS 26. Until now I really used to like the look of the clock widget on my home screen. But now I find the new widget rather ugly and I'd like to change its style - apparently this is possible by holding the widget in order to access an "edit" function, but it doesn't seem to work on my phone. how do i change the color of the clock and batery level so i can actually read them? iOS 18.7.1 Can someone tell me how to change the color of the clock and battery info at the top of the phone home screen? They are basically the same color as the background and almost impossible to read as shown in the attached screenshot. I don't want to change my background, I just want to change all that text at the top to a contrasting color so that I can ever read any of it. Thanks.
