Pages Error: The operation couldn’t be completed. (NSFileProviderInternalErrorDomain error 12.)

When I try to open Pages files, I get the error:

The operation couldn’t be completed. (NSFileProviderInternalErrorDomain error 12.)

and absolutely no clue how to resolve it. Checking w/ Dr. Google doesn't bear any fruit either.

This happens whether the document is attempted to be opened by:

Mac mini (M2, 2023)

I did try deleting and reinstalling the App. That did not resolve the issue.

After a little more digging, I did find that this affected all iWork Apps (Numbers & Keynote too).
