"Fake" Cables?:

What makes you deem your cables as "fake"? If you mean third-party cables, then they are working just fine. Let's face it --all hardware is prone to failure. So, try getting an Apple brand cable from your local retailer or from apple.com itself. Or have you tried another Apple brand cable already?
